Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site. Accessibility is treated as a release requirement, not an afterthought.
What is in place
An automated accessibility gate (axe-core) runs in our continuous-integration pipeline and blocks releases on serious or critical violations across the home, browse, and fight pages. Dialogs (the donate sheet, the walkout intro, and preference dialogs) trap keyboard focus, restore focus on close, and are dismissible with Escape. Motion respects your device's reduced-motion setting. Color choices are checked against AA contrast thresholds.
Known limits
Some third-party embeds (for example, fundraiser videos loaded from YouTube) follow their provider's accessibility support, which we do not control. We are continuing to expand automated and manual coverage.
